Bosch Car Service is a network of independent garages delivering high quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs for all makes and models. We guarantee affordable quality you can trust.
Parking
We are a very busy garage and have a small forecourt that cannot always accommodate all our customer vehicles. Please be advised that you may be required to park, or collect, your vehicle in a neighbouring street.
There is a public car park behind the workshop that you can pay for parking if you wish.
Make an Online Booking Request
Please note that when making a booking enquiry online – this is not a confirmed booking.
One of the team will call you to confirm the date requested and works to be undertaken. We receive a large number of enquiries that include incorrect information and leads to issues on the day for our team.
The Bosch email you will receive is not a confirmed booking as the platform does not cross-reference with our diary and availability of technicians.
Specify a Time
Customers may request a time they would like their vehicle back at the point of booking (in-person, over the phone or online) so we may try to accommodate wherever possible.
However, this is not always possible due to the variety of works we undertake and the time required to complete those works; vehicles that require specific ramps; and delays caused by additional works/parts which is out of our control. We appreciate your understanding with this.
Service Advice
Please be advised that we aim to follow manufacturer servicing schedules and help customers understand what their car needs and why due to age and mileage – this is not generic and does require clarity from our team to ensure the best service is provided to meet your needs and requirements.

Being part of the HEVRA - - the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance - network of approved independent garages that offers servicing, repair and maintenance of Electric and Hybrid vehicles provides consumer confidence. Staff are trained to the highest IMI-approved Level 3 & 4 in Diagnostics Testing and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components.
As HEVRA members we have access to a wide range of resources and training to keep looking after your vehicle
We are also the only SERMI-accredited garage in Thanet – covering Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate, Westgate, Birchington, and surrounding villages – which means we have access to many main dealer platforms to access a plethora of technical information. The professional tooling we have on site is the same as what main dealers have within their workshop which means we enjoy access to same access to information as manufacturers, but can offer a personalised, honest service, without the main dealer pricing, and offering the convenience of a garage close to where you live.
Other garages will be unable to complete various tasks, including software updates and works, due to the restriction on vehicle ECU access, and lack of information available to them due to the changes which came into force on 01 April 2026.
Our price structure reflects the constant investment in training for our highly-skilled technicians, adhering to the Bosch quality standards, ensuring our equipment and tooling is calibrated and suitable for the needs of the works being carried out.
Broadstairs MOT Centre has the most extensive example of tooling for specific jobs than any other garage in the locality.
Broadstairs MOT Centre is the only garage in Thanet who is a member of HEVRA, Bosch EV and the 1Tec Autohub garage networks. The networks offer access to resources, technical bulletins and tooling specific for EV & Hybrid.
Independent garages must meet specific requirements in order to join the networks; and must demonstrate clear working procedures and regular training to stay at the forefront of the automotive technological advancements.
