SERMI (Security-related Repair & Maintenance) provides a secure, trusted and manufacturer-recognised framework that enables independent garages to access security-related vehicle repair and maintenance information.
It supports safe, professional working practices and establishes a consistent route for accessing sensitive data related to modern vehicle systems, including vehicle security-related information, security-sensitive parts, software, or functions connected to theft prevention, immobilisation, tracking, and recovery. Within this framework, SERMI certification is referenced as the recognised pathway for obtaining authorised access from vehicle manufacturers.
